I am a data expert and problem-solver
I am a Consultant in the Data practice. I help our clients enable the data that already exists in the organisation and help them answer all their data-related questions to help them bring their ideas and project to life. From putting together over a hundred data sources to get a true representation of each client; making sure the data is reliable and good quality; to how data can improve the customer journey through the bank, I work with our clients to solve their data problems, to create and accelerate their strategies.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
I work with our clients to solve data problems, create and accelerate their strategies.
To get hands on experience and grow
I joined Synechron as part of the grad scheme. I was looking for an opportunity that would allow me to develop a wide variety of skills. Their trainings, as well as the exciting variety of clients they work with, has really helped me with my professional growth. I now have hands-on project experience in large, enterprise scale projects using cutting-edge technology. At Synechron, we have an amazing team of bright, talented, ambitious people who always bring innovative ideas to the forefront of everything they do.
Is it possible to have too many degrees?!
I probably have more degrees than a normal person should have! I have graduated from the double degree programme in Applied Maths and Physics with a focus on Computer Science and Economics. During the last year of my Bachelors, I discovered my passion for data and how it can explain paradoxes in behavioural economics. I moved to London to continue my Data Science education at the University of Westminster. I am also a certified Scrum Master but prefer to follow the “individuals over tools” principle of Agile.
Arts, Crafts, Machine Learning & Female Empowerment
I love arts and crafts, and right now I am studying lettering. I am also the co-chair of the Women in Machine Learning and Data Science network where I enjoy organising events and conferences for the wider UK community. For me, it is an opportunity to bring together a community of amazing female data scientists to the spotlight and give them an opportunity to share their knowledge with everyone. The liaising with hosts, speakers and sponsors takes a lot of time and effort but I truly enjoy It and the positive impact it has on others.
