/ / What I do at Synechron

Strategizing and driving global marketing efforts

At Synechron, I am responsible for setting the global marketing strategy to help drive branding, media/analyst, sales, and recruitment initiatives. Given Synechron’s ambition to be the leading global digital consulting firm in the world, innovation initiatives are a key part of that, and therefore, I’m also an active member of Synechron’s Blockchain COE. As part of the COE, I was responsible for the market launch of Synechron’s blockchain accelerators program. Since their launch, I have put the program forward to win eight industry awards including the Sell-side Technology Awards for Best DLT Initiative and Best Agile Development Project. I oversee Synechron’s strategic blockchain partnerships including its membership with the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance and Microsoft Azure Blockchain Council. In 2017, I was the featured Keynote speaker on behalf of Synechron at the September 2017 Women in Blockchain event: Getting Hands-on with Quorum and have been quoted on blockchain in publications including CoinReport, CoinSpectator, Consultancy.UK, and The Register among others.

/ / Why I joined Synechron

Help elevate brand Synechron globally

I joined Synechron in 2016 as a financial services marketing specialist looking for a FinTech consulting firm that had a deep focus on innovation, which would allow me to talk about the most leading-edge developments in our industry and found Synechron just ahead of the launch of its Blockchain Accelerators initiative. I saw this as a great opportunity to draw on my experience working with 40+ FinTechs over the last ten years on their marketing communications initiatives and to focus that energy on just one company. I was excited by the opportunity I would have at Synechron to help elevate the global brand within the consulting, technology and financial services community and to help the industry understand the unique value of these Accelerators and the related services that went into greeting them.

/ / MY SKILLs, qualifications and experience

Master’s Degree in History with over a decade of experience in financial services

I have over a decade of experience in financial services, technology and professional services marketing and am passionate about crafting results-driven Marketing Communications programs. Prior to Synechron, I worked in both in-house and agency roles to advise publicly-traded and early-stage FinTech companies on their global marketing strategies. These included companies such as Interactive Data, Sapient, The National Stock Exchange, BAE Systems, NICE Actimize, eFront, Fidessa, UBS, Microsoft and others. I graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and History and a Master’s Degree in History.

Learning about new things, writing poetry and visiting museums

When I’m not doing Marketing or talking Blockchain, I love learning about new things. I am an avid reader, movie-watcher and museum-goer and enjoy quiet, introspective, and creative activities like cooking, sketching, or writing poetry. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my family.
