Duties: Develop enterprise-level software applications; perform requirement gathering and analysis; develop and analyze application design (preparing functional specification documents and technical design documents with best suitable architectural decisions for complex business requirements); review architecture and design artifacts and estimate efforts for each requirement (create logical & sequence diagrams, create use case diagrams, create architecture and deployment diagrams, etc.); work on performance engineering activities in planning, set-up/testing oversight and application interfaces, and database tuning; conduct proof of concept for the feasibility checks of a solution, gather integration requirements and define high-level architecture; configure, install and host applications from web and application servers; support production environment availability and bug fixing of production issues; test developed applications for bugs and issues; create and automate application builds and deployment; and manage application development life-cycle and generate customized reports.
Education and Experience: Master of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science. Alternatively, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as Software Developer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.
Worksite: 11 Times Square, New York, NY - 10036. Exact worksite location not known at this time but will report to and will be paid out of headquarters office in New York.
