Duties: Develop PEGA PRPC-based enterprise-level software applications for the banking and insurance domains; perform requirement gathering and analysis; develop and analyze application design (preparing functional specification documents and technical design documents with best suitable architectural decisions for complex business requirements); review architecture and design artifacts and estimate efforts for each requirement (create logical & sequence diagrams, create use case diagrams, create architecture and deployment diagrams, etc.); configure, install and host applications from web and application servers; service request/response analysis through different tools like SOAP UI and Postman; integrate SOAP and REST services in the application by designing PEGA connector rules; support production environment availability and bug fixing of production issues; test developed applications for bugs and issues; create application builds and deploy scripts; and manage application development life-cycle and generate customized reports.
Education and Experience: Master of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Applications. Alternatively, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Applications plus 5 years of experience as Software Developer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.
Worksite: 11 Times Square, New York, NY - 10036. Exact worksite location not known at this time but will report to and will be paid out of headquarters office in New York.
