Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a seasoned, client-centric, B2B-marketer with 4 to 8 years of experience, and interested in achieving the next step in their career within technology consulting. A multi-faceted role, the position is perfect for a candidate who favors autonomy, is highly strategic, innovative, commercially minded, and keen to make their mark. You will be responsible for brainstorming, developing, and executing the marketing strategy for Synechron NC region, with a specific focus on sales enablement, lead/demand generation, and Account-Based Marketing. Charlotte is a key part of Synechron’s growth strategy and as such, the successful candidate will play a major role in its continued success and brand positioning within the region. In this role, you will need to pivot and manage complex priorities as well as multiple senior stakeholders on various engagements, propositions, and campaigns.

You will also be a part of the Global Marketing & Communications team, playing a key role in our growth and success within the North American market. You will work alongside our global team members on brainstorming and developing exciting campaigns focused on demand generation to delight stakeholders as well as attract, engage, and retain existing and prospective clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and execute a regional marketing strategy for NC area, working alongside the sales/ BU head and team to help them deliver their targets from an account and industry perspective
  • Ideate, develop, and execute 1:1 account-based marketing plans for the region’s top 4-6 high priority accounts
  • Design and plan demand generation campaigns for target logos across the financial services industries using various strategies and tools, including Salesforce Pardot, Paid Social, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc.
  • Define the digital marketing and content strategies for the region, including thought leadership, brochures, one-pagers, flyers etc.
  • Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events.
  • Develop and initiate case study campaigns on key projects within top accounts, including the development of website pillar pages, mailers, videos etc.
  • Strategic events execution, virtual and in-person (COVID-permitting), working alongside commercial teams to identify key events and targets as well as providing on-site event management.
  • Support local HR, Recruitment and Admin teams in driving their programs in an effective manner.
  • Brainstorm and develop creative RFP responses for large opportunities or key client meetings.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data as well as list segmentation of key clients to produce effective campaigns.
  • Use Salesforce to produce dashboards, reports and track inbound leads.
  • Develop and track key KPIs, metrics, and campaign ROI

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-8 years of progressively responsible marketing & communications experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years experience working within a B2B marketing setting
  • Account-based marketing experience and/or understanding – any certifications in i.e., Demandbase, Salesforce, etc, will be seen as a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and content management systems
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and building omnichannel campaigns to boost demand generation and promote sales enablement, including in-person events, webinars, marketing automation, social media, etc. 
  • Track record of building and running multiple sales & marketing campaigns in parallel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong storyteller
  • Exceptional PowerPoint skills with experience in creating client presentations, decks, RFIs/RFPs, etc.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a ‘can-do' attitude, able to take initiative with strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in using and building campaigns via Salesforce and Salesforce Pardot
  • Industry knowledge within financial services and technology is highly advantageous
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
