Duties: Plan and manage software development projects from initiation to implementation for the banking and insurance domains; conduct requirement analysis, resource and budget estimations, and develop and drive project plans with timelines and milestones; ensure that project scope is fully understood by all stakeholders; provide guidance and subject matter expertise on technical architecture and database design as well as the tools and technologies, and preparation of deployment strategies, including application and data security standards, and application performance metrics; create production release document and guide production support users in deployment of various projects on production server; manage implementation and integration of software principals into design and development of software and processes; ensure appropriate sign-offs for each phase of the development cycle.
Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications or Computer/Management Information Systems plus 3 years of experience as Project Manager/Lead, Software Engineer/Developer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted. Willing to accept a suitable combination of education and experience -- Baccalaureate degree from a foreign university + 3 years of experience.
Worksite: 11 Times Square, New York, NY - 10036. Exact worksite location not known at this time but will report to and will be paid out of headquarters office in New York.
