Duties: Design strategies for and architect enterprise data warehouse systems for the capital markets and investment banking domains; develop and unit test ETL processes, mappings, workflows, sessions and dashboards; analyze large data sets and develop custom models (including overall architecture/data model design documents, technical design specifications as well as technology justifications) and algorithms to drive business solutions; use ETL tools to extract data from source systems and load it into target systems after applying requisite transformations; implement data quality/cleansing logic driven by business requirements; create Power BI reports and dashboards; SSAS Tabular model creation including writing DAX formulas for creating custom measures in SSAS Tabular and Power BI; design logging and validation frameworks for better error handling, quick fixing, and validation in ETL; and design macros and test suites to automate tasks in databases/warehouses over several networks and platforms.
Education and Experience: Master of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications or Computer Information Systems. Alternatively, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications or Computer Information Systems plus 5 years of experience as Database Administrator/Architect, Data Warehouse Architect, Software Developer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.
Worksite: 11 Times Square, New York, NY - 10036. Exact worksite location not known at this time but will report to and will be paid out of headquarters office in New York.
