Data Warehouse Architect (Occupation Code: 15-1199.06 Database Architects)

Job Description

Duties: Design strategies for and architect data warehouse systems, including installing and configuring OBIEE on new Windows and Linux servers; develop and unit test ETL processes, mappings, workflows and sessions and dashboards; define and set-up LDAP Active Directory and SSO integration; use ETL tools to extract data from source systems and load it into target systems after applying requisite transformations; OBIEE monitoring, including nightly critical loads into and extracts out of ETL systems; create ETL data storage jobs and sequences as per business requirements; define the flow of ETL jobs, Unix scripts and develop/monitor Autosys jobs; implement data quality/cleansing logic driven by business requirements; create BI reports and dashboards, including data reporting and analysis from multiple sources; and design macros and test suites to automate tasks in databases/warehouses over several networks and platforms.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience: Master of Science degree in Engineering (Any Branch), Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems. Alternatively, Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Any Branch) Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems plus 5 years of experience as Database Administrator/Architect, Data Warehouse Architect, Software Developer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.

Skills required:
  • Oracle 12c/11g/10g, SQL Server 2005/2000, Teradata 14.0, DB2 9.x
  • Red Hat Linux 6.5 and Windows 7/XP/2008/2003
  • Weblogic
  • Tableau 9.0, OBIEE
  • Financial Domain

Worksite:  11 Times Square, New York, NY - 10036. Exact worksite location not known at this time but will report to and will be paid out of headquarters office in New York.
