C#/.NET Developer/Programmer

New York City, NY, USA

Job Description:

The C# .Net Developer will work on the front office trade capture, trade processing, trade and position management, and PnL management systems. The day-to-day responsibilities would include the design and development of different processing components in the system using Microsoft technologies. The candidate would be a part of a global team in NY (US), Raleigh (US), London (UK), Wroclaw (Poland) and Pune (India), and would directly interact with BAs and other developers on the team. The candidate would also work closely with L1 and L2 support teams and provide dev support for the applications.

Job Requirements: 

  • Experienced developer: 8+ years minimum in software development
  • Experience in fixed income trade capture, front to back trade flow, and complete trade and position management
  • Extensive experience in programming using .NET Framework 4.0/4.5
  • Strong experience in Multithreading skills
  • Experience with all phases of the systems development lifecycle 
  • Very thorough understanding of the .Net fundamentals and design patterns used in real time transaction processing systems
  • Extensive experience in server side programming in Windows services, WCF
  • Extensive experience in messaging protocols (FIX, TCP/IP, JMS based messaging : EMS, MQ)
  • Extensive experience working with distributed and enterprise systems, SOA
  • Good experience in RDBMS
  • Experience in high performance and high availability systems
  • Bloomberg TOMS experience is a big plus
  • GUI design and development (HTML5, angular) is a plus
