Senior Business Analyst - Calypso

I’m a Senior Business Analyst for Calypso. My core responsibility is to work closely with users to understand their needs and find the most appropriate solution for every work challenge they face. This requires a strong knowledge of Calypso as well as a good understanding of our users’ business. I’m also proud to have helped bring a talented team together for a strategic upgrade of Calypso where client expectations were high. Luckily, our motivation was even higher.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

/ / Why I joined Synechron

To push my professional limits every single day

Right after I finished university, banks were investing a lot in IT. So it was no wonder that I was tapped to work in the financial markets. Synechron had great projects and the overall team communication felt nimble and spontaneous. It was the kind of work environment you did not want to miss out on. Over the past few years, the size of the company has increased from hundreds to thousands of employees all around the world. This kind of global, innovative and exciting environment is helping me to push my professional limits every single day.

/ / MY SKILLs, qualifications and experience

Information Technology and Management (EFREI)

I earned a degree in Information Technology and Management (EFREI) with a major in Computer Science. Although I knew little about finance, I was able to start on the trading floor, surrounded by all the excitement and the stress. Despite the environment being pretty intense, my technical background helped enormously and I quickly learned about the financial markets all while meeting many interesting people along the way. After a few years there, I moved into a role that I always wanted to have - managing exciting projects, surrounded by inspiring people.

/ / My personal interests

I love sports!

I’ve played tennis, volleyball and done a lot of skiing and snowboarding. I’ve even been skydiving. I love golfing the most. I started playing when I was 12, but after living at a ski resort for 10 years, I stopped for a long while. Last year, I came back to it when I realized I couldn’t spend another weekend without it.
