Understand, Problem-solve and Transform Business Objectives
As a data scientist/ engineer within business consulting, I get to understand where business values come from through digital transformation projects, as well as solving challenging problems with creative algorithms through data science initiatives, which help me grow into a well-rounded problem-solver for tomorrow's highly complex business world.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
I solve complex business challenges of our clients through data science initiatives
To be ahead of the curve in an empowering environment.
I joined Synechron at a time when everyone started to talk about FinTech and data, and how they are going to transform the world into something magical before we know it! I was convinced that after having a tour of the 'Accelerators' in Synechron's FinLab in London, I decided I wanted to be a part of such a cool place. Synechron is also a place where people with all backgrounds and differences are valued, and you do feel like part of a big but close family.
MSc in Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation
I had been explored my life a little bit before I joined Synechron. I have a Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Engineering and Architecture from the University of Cambridge because I was interested in both subjects and took courses in both. I worked as an architectural designer, then a multi-tasker in a virtual reality start-up before convincing myself that I need to understand how data works before proceeding with anything more interesting. That led me to completing my Master’s in MSc Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation from the London School of Economics (LSE) and set my foot into business and technology.
Arts, Nature and Enjoying Life to the Fullest.
I enjoy painting (mainly acrylic) and doing sketches in my spare time, as well as hiking and mountaineering – at least when I am feeling a bit more adventurous! I am also quite a creative cook and enjoy re-inventing traditional Chinese cuisine into various fusion-style dishes from time to time. With the vibrant cultural scene in London, I also try to catch up with the latest theatres and live music pop-ups during weekends, usually with a glass of wine!
